ArtGnomon has the ability to offer a range of services valuable for a varied plethora of addressees ranging from scientists to collectors.

The main aim of all the services outlined below is the preservation, protection or promotion of artistic objects of cultural heritage: this can be achieved partly through the recording and analysis of the preservation state of a given artwork or of an entire collection (condition surveys, impact assessment, deterioration/conservation studies). Additionally, either through the control of the microclimate in which the artwork/collection resides or is exhibited (environmental monitoring and control) orhrough the compilation of the full profile of an artwork by placing it in the right framework context for a variety of purposes (forensic examination, originality verification etc).
