ArtGnomon employs conservation science techniques in order to conduct scientific analysis, diagnostic evaluation and targeted testing towards addressing questions about material composition, artists' techniques, deterioration mechanisms, ageing and decaying factors etc.

The resulting findings from these custom studies are then used as basis for recommending adequate corrective and restoration actions as well as preventative measures against physical degeneration of cultural artifacts.
